Going DUTCH

November 19, 2009, is the launch of “Going Dutch”, a project featuring 5 solo exhibitions by 5 Dutch artists in 5 Dutch galleries on the 5th floor of 547 West 27th Street in Chelsea. For 5 weeks, Art Affairs, Galerie Ferdinand van Dieten, Steendrukkerij Amsterdam, The One Minutes and Witzenhausen Gallery will present internationally established and emerging artists like Jan van Munster, Benoît Hermans, Carel Visser, Dutch One Minutes and Madeleine Berkheimer. The galleries and artists will have a program with presentations, gallery tours and workshops.
“Going Dutch” is a part of the 5 Dutch Days, 5 Burroughs events, the 5 opening days coincide with the 5 Dutch days. Because of the NY400 celebrations there will also be a lot of other Dutch oriented projects in New York in November.
